I’m wanting to change a user role to “no role for this site” when certain conditions are met (their subscription ends and their role is change from subscriber to customer). The trigger and filters work just fine, but when I get the action of changing user role, there is no option to assign no role, or specifically WP’s “No role for this site” option. I don’t want these users to be able to log in to WordPress at all, so effectively want them to have no role. “No role for this site” is a role option when editing a user manually, so why it is not an option on your “change user role” action? Can this please be added? Or is there some other way I can access it if not showing by default? Thanks!

    Hi,

This is an oversight on our behalf. The action just lists the available roles. We simply never imagined your use case but it makes total sense to us now.

We’re preparing an update with some other bug fixes in the near future (3-5 days). This would be a very easy thing to add to both filters and actions.

I’m keeping this issue open until the new version is released.
