No rights to access

So you’ve already tried the /wp-admin/?reset_admin_menu=1 approach? It is still the recommended way to reset menu permissions back to default and regain access to the menu editor.

Note that the URL will only work if you’re logged in as an administrator, it won’t do anything if you’re logged out.

Yes, it now worked. But never the less: It is a bug within the plugin and should be fixed in my opinion. By the way: I now have bought the PRO version of the plugin.

But I do not want to fear this crash again and having to build all my settings and menus again and again. I even don´t want to export all settings after every change or so.

Please fix this issue, so that we don´t even need this “reset”-link.

The Pro version already includes better protection against “dangerous” permission settings, and it will display a warning if you try to save a configuration that would make you lose access to the menu editor. It’s not 100% reliable, but it does catch most of the problematic cases.
