Retina 2x is set to preferred Picturefill method.

We noticed missing srcset only for images loaded through Visual Composer Post Grid block. That block print recent blog posts with featured images, all loaded through AJAX instead on page generate. Retina image for selected feature image size exists.

Do you have advise how this can be resolved, so we get retina images even when content is loaded through AJAX in Visual Composer Post Grid? Or this is more question for Visual Composer developers?

Please note, all other images have srcset properly created.

    Thank you in advance,
    Aleksandar

    Hi,

Visual Composer should use the WordPress API to insert images into the posts. I think they are doing it differently and that doesn’t go through WP natural flow and therefore not through my plugin neither. Make sure you went through the Retina Debug on my website, to make sure nothing is missing on your side (the retina files for instance), then contact them, they might do something about it. They should 🙂

    Hi @tigroumeow,

Thank you very much for quick response. I suppose it’s VC to blame, but why not to ask you first 🙂

I’ll chase WPBakery for this glitch. Have a great time ahead!

Don’t hesitate to invite the developers of those plugins here so we can find a solution 🙂
