Support » Plugin: Paid Memberships Pro » No Results found

  • Sorry if this was answered already but i couldnt find the answer anywhere but i have 2 problems when someone isnt logged into their membership and goes to a restricted page it doesnt show the message that informs them they need to be a member to view the page, instead it opens a window that says “no results found”

    Hi @lew76,

Thanks for getting in touch with us, are you using in caching plugin? This may have occurred due to a caching plugin or potentially another plugin causing a conflict.

Regarding your second question, when you select a membership in the “Require Membership” widget the page will display to whichever level(s) are selected. So in your case it would appear that you have selected the Free as well as the Paid Membership.

If you would like the page to be displayed only to Paid Members you you will need to deselect the “Free Membership Level”

    Hope this makes sense!

I dont believe im using in caching plugin not sure even what that is?

and for the second question the post in question has both pad membership and free both selected so shouldnt it show in both? right now it doesnt it only shows in free.

ok i fixed the 2nd part of the question as far as the free trials concern but i am still trying to figure out the no results found issue.

    Hi @lew76,

Would you mind letting me know which theme you are using for your Membership Website? Do you perhaps have a backup of your website? It may be a theme/plugin conflict, you could try deactivating each plugin one by one and checking to see if this fixes the issue with the “No results found” page or try switching your theme to see if this solves the issue.

But I would recommend backing up your entire site first, sometimes switching themes can change some things. Sometimes it can change up a lot of things 🙂

It is a little tricky yo debug the issue without having access to the site, if you bring up the Console (by hitting F12 on the page) are there any errors coming up?

    im using paid membership pro

    tried deactivating plugins as well

    Hi @lew76,

    Okay next troubleshoot fix 🙂

Could you please check a setting in your Membership > Advanced Settings > Filter Searches and archives (Set the option to “Yes”)

Can you try enable that setting and let me know if this solves the issue for you ?
    Have a good day,
    Trav 🙂

Thats already set to yes as well.

    Hmm,

It is going to be a little tough to troubleshoot this further, without having a closer look into your site.

Would you mind letting me know what theme and version of the theme you are currently using for your site?

    Trav

current wordpress and im using elegant themes Divi

check it out for yourself and see what it says.

try to view any of the pages in the menu and see what it says.

    Hey @lew76,

Thank you for that, so I could find no errors on the page of your articles.

How are you currently restricting your articles page? If you would like you could try restricting the articles by wrapping the article in the membership shortcodes.

For your convenience I have linked the documentation below, it is a little tricky to properly troubleshoot the issue without logging into your site to have closer look but obviously it is not safe to post your login details to a public forum like this.

Would you consider having a look into our premium membership forum:

    Hope this helps!
