    Hi @janfrancioni,

Thank you for your message. I am sorry you have encountered a problem with our plugin. Do not worry, I will try to explain you everything below.

I ran a test on your website. I simulated browsers with and without WebP support to make sure everything was working. Thanks to this, I can check how much your original images weigh (i.e. what was before installing our plugin) and how much the images converted by our plugin weigh.

Here are the results of my tests:

This means that the plugin is working properly and all images are displayed in the version converted by the plugin.

If you want to achieve even better results, I encourage you to try the AVIF format in the plugin settings. Images converted to AVIF will weigh 50% less than images converted to WebP. So the images instead of weighing 1.5 MB will weigh about 0.7 MB.

Below I have attached the instructions:

I also did a test in Google PageSpeed Insight. In fact, the “Serve images in next-gen formats” error is visible there. These are the pictures:

    • delta_slide.jpg
    • iltempiodeigiganti_slide.jpg
    • eventi.png

However, this error applies to images loaded from another domain, so they are not supported by the plugin. The images on your website are loaded in WebP format.

    Best,
    Mateusz
