Support » Plugin: Quick Event Manager » No registration confirmation message

  • Hi,

    It seems that, eventhough I have set it up correctly in the settings, after people register they are rerouted to the homepage without getting the confirmation message (on screen; e-mail works fine).

    This confuses people and they start the whole registration proces again so registring multiple times.

    What am I not doing right?

    Nanette, do not send anyone your login. Now I need to redact all of the author’s replies… That’s always fun…

    @aerin I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

    You need to check all the setting to make sure there are no redirects set up.

    @jdembowski I’m not sure what I did wrong; what do you mean? I haven’t sent anyone my login.

    @aerin I’ve checked all the settings. I haven’t changed anything and before it went correctly.

    Something has changed. If it worked before then it will still work unless something has changed. It might have been an upgrade or a new event or added another plugin or something.
