• Just upgraded to 2.0.1 with no apparent problems, all plugins seem to be wroking and everything is, err was, just peachy.

Til I wrote my fist post. When it was published rather than the write post page displaying it returned this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class snoopy in /home/cranial/public_html/fullthrottle/wp/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 40

The post actually did get entered and displayed on the index page and the dashboard but this error occured.

    Thoughts anyone?

    Bump, and update.

Just made my second entry since the upgrade to 2.0.1 and still receive the same error when publishing:

(Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class snoopy in /home/cranial/public_html/fullthrottle/wp/wp-includes/
    class-snoopy.php on line 40.

It published and is displayed both on the index page and and dashboard as the latest post.

    Any thoughts?

Have you tried posting to the wp-testers list? Might catch more of a “fixers group” there….

Lets try this again, it’s been two weeks.

As yet I have not solved this problem. I replaced the class-snoopy.php file with a fresh copy without results.

I also relayed the question via the wp testers list over a week ago and received no response.

    Any takers on a solution?

It may be that one of your plugins has already declared this class.
    I refer to thread:

Try the plugins one by one.

Kassad, you might wanna double check that thread url. =)

I had not thought of a plugin conflict due to the problem starting with the upgrade from 2.0 to 2.0.1 and seeing no probelms prior to that.

I’ll check but it will take time. Sorry to say I’m a plugin whore and have many to go thru. And of course as I disable it I also have to pull the callup for it in the file effected.

Sounds like a job for a few beverages and and a sleepless night.

    Thanks.
