Hi, I just purchased/installed premium, and prior to that I had already set up all the API keys successfully with google, bing, and yandex (I did so just an hour or so before upgrading). All seems fine except that there is nothing showing on the index and SEO pages. Does it take a while for them to show up? I know most of my site pages are indexed by google, and had verified the site with Bing and Yandex since many years ago. So, what is the reason for the blank lists on those pages, since that is why I upgraded to the premium so I can tell what is indexed or not and use premium features. Seems odd nothing is showing (I have had my google console set up for many years. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I was away from desk. I have opened a ticket. on the Core tab my verification codes I did not use, since I had used the domain option for verification years ago. I wonder if that explains the problem I was reporting.

    Collins,

In the log section I see now lots of errors beginning with “cURL error 7: Failed to connect to oauth2.googleapis.com port 443: Connection timed out “

I had selected posts, pages, and products for indexing. Now I have only posts, so that all this problem does not cause more errors and affect my SEO, hopefully.

This curl error is mostly caused by your server which is a pretty popular issue. Here is a suggested fix https://mailoptin.io/article/fix-curl-error-28-connection-timed-out-wordpress/

Please contact your server administrator or hosting with the above information.

I am in HP 7.4 and my wp is up to date. Your plugin said minimum hp 7.4 so should be ok, right? I will contact server and will let you know. Do you think that issue is the only problem causing this?

Most likely. Fix that and let us know how it goes.

Hi, the server says they solved the server side issue (a blocked IP, see below). They say now the errors show there was a problem in Google Console setup. But, I followed all the instructions and there seems to be no errors. I will check again.

“We where able to resolve the curl error, it looks like one of the IP used by : oauth2.googleapis.com was blocked on the server which was causing the curl error. … I went ahead and removed the block for the IP, once that is done, the curl error resolved. Now, we can see following error is showing, which indicate an issue with the Google web console, where the verification is not completed.

403 You do not own this site, or the inspected URL is not part of this property. - POST ID: 15951

So, the cURL errors have ended, per server side solution, and there is something that is interfering with the google communicating with your plugin. I have deactivated the CrawlWP plugins since they keep on adding error lines to its log.

I added the CrawlWP user and the client email from the Jason file contents to it, and it shows added and I assume it is automatically verified, since as verified site owner I added it.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Collins,

Just a followup. I test submitted a post, it went on “in progress” and now in log level is in green, status number and shows post title. It shows it for google-webmaster (status 200) and for bing-webmaster (200 and 202). Does this mean that at least or at last link has been established between your plugin and google (bing seemed to be linked already, just not checked)? I was getting lots of “You do not own this site, or the inspected URL is not part of this property” errors in log, with red level dots and 403 status, but they were all from before the green dot ones. I am not getting more new ones afterwards. It seems like progress, and it sounds like google was taking time to establish connections.

That indicates all is well now.

Hi Collins, thanks. I have submitted more and they are all in progress and are logged (for all three google, bing, bing-indexnow) as level green and submission dated. Error logs for ownership issue are no longer coming.

For the record of those in my similar situation in the future, my server had an IP block as described in above thread, which was the original cause, as Collins had kindly said. Then, on my google set up end I removed and re-added the CrawlWP delegated ownership on all variations of my site url several times which (I think helped with the ownership confirmation issue).

Finally, I must have by mistake enabled the “Disable for Bulk Edit” option at some point (Its language is somewhat confusing for first-timers); Collins may comment on whether this was a factor. After disabling it (to white button), something may have changed for the better.

But so far, I have to submit posts for things to start (none started by itself, even after the “Enable Auto-Indexing” was enabled. I had thought that once linking is established, I will see automatically all the indexing statuses of all pages at once. I think this is just my learning curve still at its beginning, and the plugin seems to be working predictably and has good installation instructions. The tests are still all In Progress mode (did not realize it can take long), and nothing showing yet on the SEO stats.
