• Almost every day I receive new user registration from *@unique-papers.com and there is no way to set up protection against email addresses or user names by specifying some filtering criteria. For example, I’d set up: ignore all new user registration applications if the desired user name contains *viagra* or if the email address contains @unique-papers.com. Can you add this feature? It would make my admin work so much easier!

  • Do you use anti spam plugins? If so, try a plugin such as this:

    Thanks! This is what I needed! I installed this plugin and I hope my problem will be solved. Unfortunately I didn’t find this plugin before (I did search before posting my suggestion).

    FYI, I’ve been using the Register Plus plugin with reCAPTCHA for a while but I’m still getting bot registrations linked to unique-papers.com (the “users” all have the same email address, “aojudy@gmail.com”). I’m not sure how the bot is getting past reCAPTCHA. 🙁

    This is a core WordPress issue. I would like to see some safeguards added to a future WP upgrade.
