Support » Fixing WordPress » No post results unless plugin folder is masked

  • I hope someone can help me…The only way my site shows any post content is if my plugin folder is renamed (masked) in my ftp file manager…here’s the twist….I’ve already deactivated ALL the plugins….no results if the plugin folder is “visible” and deactivated(regular name)..no posts, no featured images where they are supposed to be.

I’m REALLY confused at this because i’ve been accustomed to deactivating plugins and reactivating them until you find the culprit….

Problem here is…all of the plugins ARE deactivated…still no results…

But if I rename the plugin folder to something else…all the posts show (but with no featured timthumb images)

Not sure how to proceed and weed out the useless plugin…Any suggestions?

Sorry about my repetitive language, but I ‘m trying to be as clear as possible…

You may need to remove the offending plug-in instead of just deactivating it. Unfortunately you may lose some settings that way if you reactivate it, so you may want to make a note of any settings that are important to you.
