 * I’ve been building a blog at work but there is no tab on the dashboard to edit
the appearance. No plugins tab either.
 * I am running the newspread theme on the latest version of wordpress.
 * They gave me a login, I did not set this up.

 * It looks like your user role doesn’t have the capability to handle all the admin
   stuff.

 * If our admin is not part of the company anymore how would we change who has that
   role?
 * aka we dont have the admin login

 * If you don’t have another admin user to change things, I suggest you use something
like phpmyAdmin on your server to change the email address of the admin user
to one that you control. (make sure it’s not one already used for a user of that
   site)
Then you can use the Forgot Password link on the login page to change
the password. Be sure to create another admin user once you recover that one,
so you don’t have to do that again.
