No Plugin Update links in 5.5

    I have been updating several sites to WP 5.5 and so far all have been fine. However, I just updated one site and although it is working ok, the new plugin update function does not appear in the plugin page. There are no errors just no links.

    Has anyone else experienced this or know what could be causing it?

    I have updated my site to 5.5 and now its not loading. There is some serious bug in 5.5. I’m trying to open a new thread but not seeing any option for that.

    Hi there,

    you can try to install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper

    With the update to WordPress 5.5, a migration tool known as jquery-migrate will no longer be enabled by default. This may lead to unexpected behaviors in some themes or plugins who run older code.

    Thanks Dragan. It is indeed quite an old site so it is likely the age of the theme has something to do with it. I think I may just go ahead and update to something newer.
