Support » Plugins and Hacks » no ‘plugin’ tab in administration panel

  • Hi,
There is no ‘plugin’ tab in my administration panel. I’ve seen on this site that it should be between the ‘presentation’ and ‘users’ tabs…but that is not so in my case. I have just 8 tabs, namely ‘dashboard’, ‘write’, ‘manage’, ‘blogroll’, ‘presentation’, ‘users’, ‘options’, ‘upgrades’. Please help!

  • Is yours a blog, or one installed on a domain name/host server of your own?

Hmmm. Answered by the “upgrades” included in your list. No plugin options on a blog; please see the FAQ and the forum at, thanks.

Yes, my blog is on ; what do you mean by a host server? Sorry, but i’m new to this terminology.

If you have a blog, you don’t need to know about host servers. You need to know that you can’t have plugins, and that help for your questions is found at the link I posted above, not here.

    Ok. Thanks!:)
