Please check the permissions on the “cache” folder inside of the plugin, “wp-mobile-detector”. Does any error about permissions show in the administration panel?

Please set the permissions to 777 and see if that fixes the issue.

Folder “cache” had 777. There is no error in administration panel. I set folder “wp-mobile-detector” on 777 and it is now almost well 🙂

It would appear that your website host is preventing the 777 permissions, see this error:

    Internal Server Error

Directory “/home/krysek76/domains/znanepary.pl/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-mobile-detector” is writeable by group

The administrator hosting replied: suPHP it does not allow the execution of files with these permissions.

Just recieved a mail from Securi concerning the security exploits deployed in versions of this plugin.

Simply reading some reactions here and especially the replies from the developer, i recommend he finds something else to do with his time. Being rude at first and then come with software with exploits in them is just ……!

Same here in this topic, whenever i see a developer advice someone to chmod to 777, i stop reading immediately and leave.

Don’t get me wrong, every input to this open source community is highly appreciated. But this plugin and it’s developer is a clear example how NOT to do things.

    Are you serious?

Looking at your comment history, you aren’t someone to take seriously.

You have no idea how much time goes into this. Time I don’t get paid for.

It’s people like you that make plugin developers like me eventually leave this directory.

I actually do know how much time goes into creating a plugin.

But if you want to provide a service to this community, imho you have to know how to deal with ignorant/stupid users. Reading your comments it constantly feels like you’re sitting on your high horse knowing it all, and then mass mailing go’s out telling everyone your software has exploits in them. How would you classify that?

Furthermore, you have a pro version, so clearly this free version is used to get more sales, i know how it works. So “Time I don’t get paid for” is not completely true.

Thanks for looking at my comment history.. Only noobs think people have 1 user account.

I’m not going to follow this topic anymore, good luck with your plugin, I only hope you learn how to deal with criticism.
