When a user subscribes to new comments (without posting a comment) twice using the same email address they get the message “Subscription Fault”.

There is no option in Phrases to change this message, and it would be good to be able to do that e.g. “Sorry, there was a problem subscribing to new comments”.

Even better would be not to raise an error when subscribing to new comments twice with the same email address!

    Hi @salubritas,

The phrase can be found and changed in the comment-form.php file located in /wp-content/plugins/wpdiscuz/templates/comment/ folder.

    OK, this is my request:

    • Make it possible to modify the phrase “Subscription Fault” through the phrases/errors tab
    • Do not raise an error if someone tries to subscribe to comments with the same email address 2+ times. They will think there is a problem when actually everything is as they expected. Just say it succeeded.

    Hi @salubritas,

Yes sure, we’ll add the “Subscription Fault” phrase in the phrases > errors tab.

Do not raise an error if someone tries to subscribe to comments with the same email address 2+ times. They will think there is a problem when actually everything is as they expected. Just say it succeeded.

We’ll take this into consideration for future updates.
