No Pay Later text, I see a PP Cedit offer

    With items in my cart I go to the checkout page, but am not offered the text messaging

    ” Pay in 4 interest-free payments on qualifying purchases. Learn more”

    I am offered the credit message

    “PayPal Credit No Interest if paid in full in 6 months. Learn more”

    I have enable message on checkout, checked.

    I have a 2nd site with the same settings, and I am seeing the pay later messaging.

    Is it the merchant account that allows this to be shown?
    Do I need to tell the merchant to contact paypal, or is there a setting in hos account that needs to checked?

    US Based Merchant.
    WOOCommers is up to date.

    Hi @squeaky,

    Whether PayPal provides advertisement banners for Pay Later or for PayPal Credit offers depends on a couple of factors but from a plugin point of view, everything happens automatically. You can only enable/disable/style the messaging, the rest like switching between Pay Later and Credit is handled by PayPal.

    The merchant region plays the biggest role but the merchant account and the order amount do as well. For US merchants, you can find more details here: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/pay-later/us/
    PayPal Credit offers are usually provided for payments above $1,500 or when the merchant does not qualify for Pay Later offers.
    We can’t say if any why the latter would be the case and should be clarified with the PayPal MTS.
