What are the odds of you creating a PAGES Template?
Right now there is the Landing Page and default, layouts. But the default layout is a POST template.
I like many others can’t stand post type layouts, and instead of trying to edit all the breadcrumbs, hierarchy etc….
What about adding a “Page” layout option for us??
    Thanks
    Frank

    Hi Frank,

here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/fsumt8tafzyu62n/mosalon-child.zip?dl=0. I added page template “Pages”, and you can display pages the same way you would display posts. I can’t build this into theme, but via child theme is ok. Please consider leaving a review.

I appreciate the effort, but guess I didn’t express myself clearly.
I’m wanting a PAGE layout not a POST layout.
What you created and sent was another post type layout.
I don’t want it to have the header that say “Blog” or have links to recent posts I don’t want author, date, category, breadcrumbs etc…
Looking to make a website not a blog 🙂
Your landing page looks great but if all we can do is link it to blog posts I don’t see it being a very viable theme.
    Thanks for trying at least.

    Hi Frank,

looks like we misunderstood, but I got your point now, and you’re right. Pages shouldn’t show date, author, comments link or anything like that (at least not at the top of the article).

I updated theme, but if you want to avoid waiting until theme gets approved here, you may download it here: https://github.com/themesbros/mosalon. Just rename folder mosalon-master to mosalon.

The only thing that I can’t really solve without ruining design of theme is title “From our blog” and subtitle “Latest posts from our blog”, but I added option in customizer to override that on pages.

So, you can put your company info and slogan there instead and it will show only on pages. You can also delete it, and leave it empty, and nothing will show. Green area can also be removed, but via child theme, but first let me know if it’s all good so far.

    Regards,
    Sinisa
