Support » Plugin: Yoast SEO » No option to “Click here to speed up…” after 14.3 update

After updating to 14.3 from 13.3 in my local dev, I was not prompted to “Click here to speed up your site now” as suggested in your article here: https://yoast.com/yoast-seo-14-0/

Do I need to run this manually or is this an indication that my site does not need to run the indexing process?

This is a relatively small site in terms of blog posts – 145 total.

I will have several more and much larger sites to update, though I am being cautious due to the significant amount of support forum requests related to the ^14.0 update.

    Thanks!

    Hi @nikkins82,

    Thank you for reaching out.

It’s odd that the notification would not show for you. However, it can also be found under SEO → Tools → SEO Data. There should be a button “Start processing and speed up your site now”. Can you see that button? If not and a checkmark is there, it means it has run and is complete.

    Thanks for responding so quickly.

I do see the green checkmark with “Great, your site has been optimized!”

Odd indeed, as I did not run the indexing process.

We’ll see if I am prompted on our live site after merging the changes.

    Thanks again!
