No option to add categories as a menu item

    I know that the option should be there but it isn’t.. I am trying to make my main menu simply consist of my blog categories. I know that Appearance > Menus should feature those built-in admin widgets for Pages, Custom Links, and Categories.

    However categories simply isn’t there, is this simply the theme?
