everything works fine, just not sure why i do not have the option to select number of columns to display, just number of images. Using divi 2.7.5

This plugin does not have a setting for columns, you will need to write your own CSS to control the look of the plugin. Examples can be found in other forum threads, e.g: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/any-way-to-have-thumbnail-images-showing-in-a-3×3-grid/
