• Hi, do you plan to add some more kpi’s, for engadgement in the pair dimensions/metrics? Such as number of comments of the current post, number of chars of that post, or some other variables? In order to help little publishers to make a propoer analysis of their best/worst posts?

    I will suggest some data layer variables for publishers:
    yours variables
    //sesion level
    + free/restricted content (protected state)
    + no of chars
    + no of comments
    + no of pings ??
    //user level
    yours
    + newsletter subscriber (in conjunction with a token from mailchimp/aweber etc)
    + account registration date (how old is the visitor)
    + pattern of visits (frecquency, no of visits weekly/monthly)
    + first visit date / last visit (not this one)

    Maybe, on ecommerce, beside the clasical variables:
    yours (i didn’t implement it yet with woocommerce on my site, it is possible you already have that variables on place) plus..
    //session, content
    + Page Type (home, list, search, product view, cart, checkout, static page)
    + Product Category/Sub Category (etc)
    + Product Brand/Manufacturer
    +Product Name
    +Product SKU
    +Product Price
    +Product Model/Collection (if relevant)
    +Product Promo (Discount, Bundle, Cross, Up, gift, internal campaign name etc)
    //user level
    +Registered User
    +First Visit Date
    +First Purchase Date
    +Count of Purchase
    +Days Since Previous Purchase
    +User registration date
    +User Gender/some demographics
    +Business Name (B2B)
    +Business Vertical (B2B)

    I may support you if it is necessary.

    Hi,

    Some of them are already planned:

    – no. of comments/pings
    – protected content
    – user registration date
    – First Purchase Date
    – Count of Purchase
    – Days Since Previous Purchase

    Some has to be considered:
    – number of chars: can you give me a business case where this is needed? Also: it is a bit tricky as one will need to count real chars and not HTML tags, shortcodes, etc.
    – newsletter subscriber: this can not be done in general but some of you already requested an integration with MailChimp thus I would say something like this could be first implemented with MailChimp
    – pattern of visits, first visit date, last visit: this is already measured in GA (freq) or can be measured using pure GTM, can you give be a business case outside GA?
    – page type: this is already there if you enable dyn. remarketing variables (stored in ecomm_pagetype)
    – product details: if you enable enhanced ecommerce, you have those data

    Thomas
