No notification on wrong filled (required) registration fields

Hi!
Is there a possibility to turn on notifications when a registration field is filled wrong (e.g. doesn’t match required minimum length etc – for this I am using the “Cimy User Extra Fields” plugin)?
The problem is that a user can fill the fields wrong click on register and receives a message that “we’ll soon confirm your registration” but the messages (regardless that the fields are filled out wrongly) don’t come in in WP.
So for now I have to use the default WP registration form.
