• When I add a new message to the BP activity stream I receive a notification mail as expected. When I create a post using a frontend editor a message is added to the activity feed. But this message doesn’t generate a notification.

How can I fix this? Do I need a different trigger?

    Hi Hugo,

which front-end editor do you have in mind? The one built into BP?

I use the Buddyblog Pro plug-in by Buddydev.

Oh, that’s a 3rd party that saves the posts their own way. I’ve added this plugin integration to our backlog, but unfortunately, I cannot commit to any ETA.

So I can’t just add the custom post type generated by the plugin? At least this didn’t work but on the other hand I haven’t got any error messages.

Should I look for a specific action in order to create my own trigger?

I’m wondering if Notification v8 won’t resolve that issue with the new loading stack. We improved when the plugin initialized and there’s a slight change it may cover this plugin, but I cannot promise this.

Ideally, one would develop a custom trigger and handle that plugin action.

Ok, thanks. And when can we expect version 8?

I’m looking to release it within the next 2 weeks, but there’s a lot to be done still.
