Support » Networking WordPress » no 'My Sites' link in nav bar after multisite set up

    I just finished setting up multisite on a clean install. I am using the subdirectory option. I completed all of the steps in the set up guide. However, after clearing browser cache and logging back in I do not see the ‘My Sites’ item in the main nav bar.

    If I go to Tools > Network Setup I see a message that says “Warning: An existing WordPress network was detected.”

    Any ideas for troubleshooting this? I’m not sure where to start.

    Thanks!

  • Are you sharing a database? Also…

    define('WP_ALLOW_MULTISITE', true);
     define('MULTISITE', true);
     define('SUBDOMAIN_INSTALL', true);
     $base = '/';
     define('DOMAIN_CURRENT_SITE', 'example.com');
     define('PATH_CURRENT_SITE', '/');
     define('SITE_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);
     define('BLOG_ID_CURRENT_SITE', 1);

    Are these lines above the “/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */”.?

    Moving the code block above the

    /* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */

    line fixed the issue. Thanks for your help!
