 * In the settings I have cache enabled. It says: Current cache size: 1.60 MB Number
   of files: 86. Then I make a change in a post. The change is immediately visible
   because I’m logged in. Then I go to another browser where I’m logged out. The
   new change is still immediately visible even when logged out. So can I assume
   that the cache is NOT working anymore? Thanks for your help!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fno-more-cache%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * [@richarddetering](https://wordpress.org/support/users/richarddetering/) Could
   you please try to purge the cache and the Preload the urls from WP-Optimize >
   Cache > Preload and check if it works?

 * Thanks Harshad. I purged the cache and I ran preload. The preload message was:
   last preloaded at (and then nothing, no date or time). Unfortunately the problems
   persists.

 * [@richarddetering](https://wordpress.org/support/users/richarddetering/) Yes
   0755 should be good, WP-Optimize should write the cache files inside the folder
