Much worse than expected, at the end it just broke the whole site.
I manually deactivated the plugin via ftp, now the site is back.
Something went terribly wrong with this update.
@riccarbi – Happy to fix any issues, sounds like a PHP error. Can you check your error logs? I have patched a couple PHP 5.2 compatibility issues already. If you can check your error logs I will include a fix in todays patch.
Thanks you for the quick reply, Danieliser!
Agree it should be a PHP error, furthermore Inexhibit is a very complex website with a lot of theme customizations and code-heavy plugins (WPML, Types, ACF, Yoast SEO, Pronamic maps, etc…) which may have interfered with Popup maker’s new code. With older versions everything was OK.
Unfortunately I did not performed a debug while the error came up, I was in a hurry to bring the site back online as soon as possible;). I will try to reproduce the problem in debug mode.
@riccarbi – No need to do that :). If you can check your Server PHP error logs likely the error will be in those. Also if you are using a version of WP older than 3.9 then the problem may have been resolved with last nights update as it used a function that didn’t exist yet. That has been patched.
If you check error logs likely you will find the exact error and I can patch it today.
