The “slogan” (or “tagline” in English) needs to be entered under Settings > General (as seen here – https://a.supportally.com/Anx3yn). That’s the official setting; your theme might have another one.
Let us know if that works!

I checked, and at present, both are fulfilled:

These are the actual setting.Like, title is taken into account, but not meta-description.
What do you recommand to solve the matter ?

Does the issue go away if you switch to a different theme (TwentyTwenty for example)? If so, we’re probably running into a conflict with your theme here.

Not Yet, but i am going to do it. I reported the matter to Elegant Themes Team and am in touch with them about this matter
A lot of people is running under Divi or Extra, so i think i will see clearer in a few time.

Update: They just confirmed to me that the matter comes from Deprecated Filters:
aioseop_description
aioseop_keywords
aioseop_title
They will release an update very soon

That’s good to hear.
I didn’t realize you’re using the Extra theme from Elegant Themes. Another user has reported this issue as well so I reached out to them yesterday and we’ll be working on a fix for this together. I don’t think it shouldn’t take too long for them to make their theme compatible again as I will be sending them some instructions.

Back on this issue again, because for the moment, Elegant Theme did not release an update yet, probably because of christmas and new year period.

Probably because of the deprecated filters in your theme. They told me they would fix it on their end but I haven’t heard from them since the holidays started.

I worked as an seo on the site of one my customer (https://synergies-psy.com/) He uses divi (extra is propulsed by divi), and all in one seo V 4.0 as well.
He has the “deprecated filters” matter as well, but his metadescription is valid because he uses ‘static homepage” setting, not homebagepuilder.
As I haven’t got a static homaepage,i cannot use that setting. so i wonder if the filters are the true issues…

I come back to you because Elegant Theme released an update today, but the matter of depecrated ilters and missing meta-description is still there.
Do you have any news on this matter ? (for the moment i use the meta-description function of the theme)

They told me they are working on the fix. Based on their changelog (https://divinotes.com/extra-changelog/), it looks like you’re right and they haven’t fixed it yet.

I don’t know what exactly they are using our filters for, but I personally sent them instructions on how they can implement the new filters. This should be a very easy fix for them but at this point it’s out of our hands and the ball is in their court.
