I have 3.0.1 installed. I never saw the Link to Menus under the Appearance Tab in the Admin area after the upgrade from 2.9.2.

It’s just not there. under Appearance I have ‘Themes,’ ‘Widgets,’ and ‘Editor’ but no ‘Menus’

I can visit the av-menus.php page and use the custom menus but the link is missing from the Tab. Help, please.

    thank you,
    Erwin

  • Your theme many not support custom menus.

No, I can see the custom menu on the website and I can use the Custom Menus but I can NOT see the “Menus” link on the Admin Panel. The theme (Arras) supports custom menus.

All I can suggest is that you consult the documentation for the theme.

this is not a theme issue, it’s on the backend, the admin panel, the dashboard. On other WP sites with this theme, it shows the link to Menus under the “Appeacerance” tab.

    have tried:
-deactivating ALL plugins. If the problem goes away, activate them individually to find the culprit?

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

-if this did not resolve the issue, other possibility you may try is increasing memory available for php.
