No luck

Not sure if I didn’t give it long enough and it hadn’t finished doing everything in the background… but this was my first time trying one of these optimization plugins. I consider myself maybe not expert but “advanced” so my site was fairly optimized to begin with. I started with the safe settings and then combed through the advanced options customizing from there. Pagespeed score actually decreased by about 10%. Again maybe the plugin hadn’t finished doing everything in the background but if not there was no visual indication that it was still processing.

Also the lazy loading settings seemed to break loading of a couple of the Nivo Slider’s images (resulting in 404’s). Didn’t dig in any further and just uninstalled the plugin. Glad it works for some.

PS. I did try that webpage linked on the side before installing which showed massive potential pagespeed gains which is why I gave this a try.
