Hi @yliadr, that’s not good. Could you provide me the version of The Events Calendar Plugin and the theme that you’re using?
I also suspect that there’s a setting on your theme that’s blocking the calendar. See the screenshot here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/E0uypYxD.
Could you select a brand under your theme setting → Store → Brands, and see if that makes a difference?
Looking forward to helping you with this one.

In the screenshot, you showed the HTML block brands from the theme, it is not associated with your plugin
In the screenshot, you showed the HTML block brands from the theme, it is not associated with your pluginHi @yliadr, thanks for getting back to me with more details here. I see, seems like it, I wondered if it is indirectly causing some issue, thanks for confirming that it isn’t related.
I could see that the widget/shortcode on the sidebar is working. I suspect there’s a conflict here.
Could you try deactivating all other plugins except for our plugins? Moreover, could you switch to the default theme? Please read the Testing for Conflicts article before doing anything. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/
Let me know how it goes.
Best,
AbzYes, some kind of conflict with the topic. But what could have caused this to happen? Everything was displayed, and after a minute everything was gone. No work was carried out
Hi @yliadr, that’s definitely weird. Are you referring to this plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/topic/? I would suggest reaching out to their Team and see what’s up.
You could also try installing their last working version, and see if that makes a difference.
Let me know how goes with your conversation with them.
Best,
AbzI’m sorry, conflicts with Theme
Hi @yliadr, I see thanks for clarifying. I’m also curious about your Display setting, under Events → Settings → Display → Event Templates and Default Style Sheet used for the Events Templates. Could you try switching it out, and see if that makes a difference? Here’s the default setting that should work with any theme: https://share.getcloudapp.com/JruorOqW.
Moreover, it would be good if you could also check with the theme developer.
Please do keep us posted. Let me know how it goes as well.
Best,
AbzYes, this is the solution. But how can I add a sidebar?
Hi @yliadr, that’s awesome. I can now also see the page and the event as well. Appreciate you updating the settings.
In regard to the sidebar, you’d need to customize the page and override the template. For this one, you’d need knowledge of PHP and CSS to implement this. Here’s a handy article that should be able to help you customize the single event page. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/customizing-template-files-2/
I want to note here that as per our Support Policy, we cannot provide full support for Customization or third-party integrations, even if we have a guide on our Knowledge base. It is still up to you as the end-user to implement this. See the article here → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/what-support-is-provided-for-license-holders/.
Let me know if this helps.
Best,
AbzHey @yliadr, this thread has been inactive for a while, so we’re going to go ahead and mark it Resolved. Please feel free to open a new thread if any other questions come up, and we’d be happy to help.
