    Hi,

Been using this plugin for well over a year now and it is fantastic. Although recently, the 404 log has been empty all week – this is very unusual for us and concerns me that something isn’t working as intended.

Can this happen or has something broke overnight on my end?

I can’t think of a reason it would stop working. It’s worth checking your settings to make sure the logging is enabled, and to visit the support page to see if there are any problems.

    Yeah not sure myself!

I just checked all settings & options and nothing seems out of the ordinary, even the support page says everything is fine.

I did notice I had another plugin called Easy 404 Redirect, so I’ve now deleted that and will monitor your plugin over the weekend to see if that was the cause.

Cheers for getting back to me John, enjoy your weekend!

(This is my normal account, typically remembered the login after I made another one)

I came searching to see if any other users noticed the same. I’ve used this plug-in for sometime (and yes, I’m one of the supporters!) and suddenly, effective April 18, there is not a single 404 logged. That was a useful tool for me to create custom redirects and now there are just none. I used a different method to check (outside of this plugin) and indeed the 404s exist — they just are not being logged. I even searched for a URL I knew wasn’t on my site. Got a not-found of course, but, nothing was registered in the 404 log.

I’ve checked to assure none of the settings have changed, the 404 logging is enabled, set to last a month — and nothing since April 18 has been logged.

@kjf916 could you re-save the settings, just as an extra check. I’m still unable to reproduce this so if it’s possible to get a login to a site where it is happening I can take a look. I can be contact through the plugin’s support page.
