 * One of the shitty slider. You cant see instant updates all the time.
 * I have lost a client due to this. Updated a slider and unable to see the same.
   Sometimes, it takes around a day to show updates. Does not work and shifting
   to other plugin.

 * Hi [@srinivas910](https://wordpress.org/support/users/srinivas910/)
 * I am sorry for your bad experience!
 * However **if you make changes** in the slider, **and you can not see those changes**
   on the frontend of your site, that actually **means some kind of caching** on
   your site.
 * Did you clear all kind of cache after you made modifications in your slider?

   If you didn’t then that will be the problem, since caching works that way that
   is saves down the HTML of your page in a given state, and keep displaying those
   results until the cache expires or cleared manually. If you cleared the cache,
   then I could also imagine that you have some kind of server caching or Cloudflare
   cache that also needs to be cleared.
 * If you could send us a link to the page where you saw the slider not updating,
   then we could check if that page has some kind of caching on it.
 * Another important thing you need to know is that, if you work with dynamic slides
   then the generators are working from cache as well, which means their content
   is only updated after the cache time expires. In the Generator settings you can
   always modify the Cache expiration time:
    - [https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1725-dynamic-slide-basics#settings](https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1725-dynamic-slide-basics#settings)
 * But actually you can clear this cache any time by pressing the Clear cache button
   from the Slider Actions drop down:
    - [https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1764-slider-settings#slider-actions](https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1764-slider-settings#slider-actions)
 * or you can clear the cache of all sliders, by clearing the cache at our Global
   Settings > General tab:
    - [https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1783-general#clear-cache](https://smartslider.helpscoutdocs.com/article/1783-general#clear-cache)
 * Best regards,
    Laszlo.
