No Input File Specified

  • Good morning everyone,

    I’ve searched quite a bit for a fix to the “No Input File Specified” message, but none of the stated fixes have seamed to work for me. So, I’m posting here for help.

    Installing the software on servers leased from Webmasters.com
    Wordpress 3.5
    PHP Version: 5.2.11 (as CGI binary using FastCGI)

    Following the installer instructions exactly, putting wordpress into it’s own directory:


    No matter what I try, I get the “No Input File Specified” message when trying to run the installer at:


    Any clue? Looking forward for a solution.

    That sounds like a server issue. Have you contacted Webmasters.com about this?

    I’ve sent them a message through their support center. I’ll report the response from them once I receive it.
