No Images Showing

  • I just uploaded another blog in a subdomain of my site and no images are showing up at all, while two other blogs I host are fine and all the images are showing.

    The other two I upgraded, this new one is a fresh install. Has anyone run into this before? If so, how can I fix this? Thanks in advance, any help is greatly appreciated.

    @macmanx

    URL please …

    Check the file permissions on the images – try changing them to 755 or 766

    You don’t say if you are using a template ‘out of the box’ or your own – if it’s the latter, check that you are using full url’s to the images.

    i’ve had this problem before, if you have a c-panel, that has hot-link protection, occasionally sub-domains dont get added to the allow list and it stops images showing, took me ages to figure out.

    or you can try podz way…… 🙂

    @podz: I chmod’ed things to 766 and 755 with no luck.

    @jod: that was it, I didn’t have the url hotlinked. Everything works.

    thanks to both for the replies! 🙂
