Testimonials Widget is a custom post type and uses the default image features of WordPress. As such, adding images to testimonials is just like that of adding to a post and a page.
Either click on the Featured Image area or the Upload icon above the post content. See http://s.wordpress.org/extend/plugins/testimonials-widget/screenshot-2.png.
However, in rereading your message, what do you mean by “testimonials interface”?
Good luck!
Michael
Hold on a moment, I just went to add a new testimonial to my website and noticed that the Featured Image section is missing. Please give me a few minutes to debug and get it back.
Okay, it’s not quite the plugin, but seems to be theme related. Still, I’ll try to sort out the work around.
What theme are you using?
Okay, I’m stumped for a bit, I need to do more research to get us a solid answer. Please be patient.
I am using Platform Pro. I recently upgraded my WordPress to 3.4.2.
Fixed, please try version 2.3.1.
I upgraded to version 2.3.1 and now the “featured image” module disappeared. Everything worked fine before. What did you do??
Please fix
What theme are you using?
Do you mean it disappeared for all posts and pages or just testimonials widget?
It disappeared for all posts and pages.
I’m using ElegantThemes theme called Chameleon.
Thank you. Working on fix now.
Tested as fixed, please try version: 2.3.2.
Mine worked as of 2.3.1. Thanks for the fix. Can we get more options over the appearance of the featured image as we do with regular images that are inserted into posts?
Great to hear. Check out FAQ 4.
Upgraded to 2.4 and now the problem is gone. Thanks!!
