Support » Plugin: Max Mega Menu » No hover color for top-level menu disabled link?

    I’m trying to find a way to make it obvious when a top-level menu item’s link is disabled. That only its sub-menu items are clickable. So, when a top-level menu link is disabled, how can I prevent the menu item from changing color when I hover over it? And if that’s no possible, how about changing the hand mouse pointer to an arrow?

    The Assist Us! menu item has its link disabled.

    <script async src=”//s.imgur.com/min/embed.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>

    Hi encata,

    The cursor should just be a pointer (not a hand) when the link has been disabled on that item. If that’s not happening, please can you post a link to your site so I can take a look?

    You can change the hover color using this CSS:

    .mega-disable-link:hover > a.mega-menu-link,
    .mega-disable-link.mega-toggle-on > a.mega-menu-link {
      background: transparent !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Tom

    Thank you Tom. I would prefer the default action of pointer with hover color. Here is a link to the site. It’s in coming soon mode but this is a bypass url: https://www.enacta2.com/mmm

    Hi enacta,

    Thanks for the link.

    The cursor is a pointer to indicate that there is a sub menu there (even though the link itself is disabled).

    Please use this custom CSS:

    #mega-menu-wrap-main_navigation #mega-menu-main_navigation li.mega-menu-item-has-children.mega-disable-link > a.mega-menu-link {
    cursor: default !important;
    }

    I can see your site CSS is minified so make sure you clear the CSS cache after adding the CSS.

    Regards,
    Tom

    Working well now, Tom. Thanks!
