  • Hi, im using WP version 3.0
    2010 Weaver Theme

    im trying to create a drop menu option from my menu bar to access various pages
    2010 theme suports 1 custom menu from the appearance section
    When i try and set this menu up it asks what pages you want to include on the menu – it doesnt give me the option of including my home page

    Normally my menu bar will have “Home” followed by “Contact”, Resources” then “About” and i can navigate easily along them

    If i go the “Page” section it shows that i have created pages for contact, resources and about. i didnt create a home page although it did appear automatically on my navigation bar

    If i create a home page i end up with two on my bar

    I have left my site with the menu created with all pages except my home page

    Anyone any ideas on how i can my home page included on this menu?
    By clicking through the options on the menu bar you can see the problem

  • function ttw_page_menu_args( $args ) {
    	$args['show_home'] = true;
    	return $args;
    add_filter( 'wp_page_menu_args', 'ttw_page_menu_args' );

    Write this in functions.php file.

    Hey Chinmoy, looks like you know the fix for this, before i add it i just want to check where to add it?
    Do i just add it at the end before the:

    put at line no 845 in functions.php file.

    I have a “2010functions.php” aswell as a “functions.php”

    Within the 2010functions.php i found the following coding:

    function twentyten_page_menu_args( $args ) {
    $args[‘show_home’] = true;
    return $args;
    add_filter( ‘wp_page_menu_args’, ‘twentyten_page_menu_args’ );

    There is nothing like this in the functions.php
    Its almost identical to what you suggested, should i copy it into the functions.php?
    May sound silly this but how do i identify line 845, none of the lines in the file have numbers against them.

    so don’t put my code.

    i meant should i copy your code across to the functions.php file as there appears to be similar code in the 2010functions.php file

    sorry if not clear

    it’s already there(2010functions.php). Don’t put my code in functions.php file.

    Is it possible to do the same with Archive?
