This is far from a one click installation. And there are no detailed installation instructions or explanations of what anything does.

The only instructions seem to be click all buttons, but then most of the buttons have scary warning messages saying don't do this or this will happen.

As there are more than 10 buttons to check in the dashboard, and some are either or, it's simply not possible to check all the buttons.

On top of that there's a warning message telling me there is no wp admin htaccess file and it's not activated. Unfortunately there's no meaningful explanation about what to do about it.

And on top of that all the Read Me buttons contain blank screens.

All in all a pretty disappointing and confusing plugin

If the Read Me buttons are displaying blank then some other plugin that you have installed is breaking the BPS plugin's jQuery scripts.

Do the standard WordPress troubleshooting steps to find out which plugin that is.

Deactivate plugins one by one until you find the plugin that is causing the issue/problem.

If the issue/problem is still occurring then switch your Theme temporarily to the WordPress 2012 Theme.

You can also find additional help and troubleshooting in the BulletProof Security Forum: http://forum.ait-pro.com/forums/topic/read-me-first-free/

Once you find out which plugin it is please post the plugin's name here so i can give you the code that will block this plugin from breaking BPS jQuery scripts.

    Not yet.

I just kept pushing buttons until all the scary red warning messages went away. (Found even more buttons that needed activating.)

    Seems to be working now.
