Whats worse than a website like mine??…one without a title or contact phone number. Customer brought this to my attention…not sure when this began…I got all available updates..am trying to learn to edit ,when I go to the “site title & tagline” drop down, everything appears correctly entered ..but just not being displayed …I know I have a long way to go …Just figured trying to recover my title and tagline would be a start..

  • Go to appearance, then header. see if the checkbox is ticked for ‘Show header text’

Just wanting to check in and see if you still needed help with the issuse 🙂

Yes most defintely …was not able to follow advice given by wiresplus..Appearance…but no header option

OKay, no worries, ill do my best to help. Try this:

    Go into your THEMES

Pick the theme your using and select CUSTOMIZE (it should pop up when you hover over the theme)

That should open your website to see it live with a SIDEBAR off to the left. In there you should see a “SITE NAME and TITLE TAG” box.

    Check SHOW (or the equivalent)

Add your info and press SAVE.

Let me know if that works or not 🙂

When I click the “site title & tagline” drop down …it is already populated with the correct info….just not displaying on main page..etc..

    what theme are you using?

As I see that you are already using a custom theme and name of the theme is “sord_architype2_sepia” and I can also see that “Town and Country Property Inspections” this title is showing at your site but I like to know in where you want to show your title and tagline?

If you tell us about this then we can help you about the setting .

Town and Country Property Inspections at the top in the header in large print…also in the header the tag “We look before you leap” 270-705-0624…had allways been there ..dont know why I can not view it in the header …top..section?

    Archetype …full screen

It was a missing widget for all of those that replied…30 second fix..resolved

What was the culprit widget called?

Activated while on phone w/ site creator…name unknown but is was specific to the archetype theme and somehow?? was disabled..
