No Green Box Saying Sent

Recently my uncle tried to send a message and he got the “red border error”. I fixed that and when I sent a test e-mail I didn’t get any notifications that it was sent. I remember seeing that when I set up the form years ago. I did get an e-mail notification, but no on-screen notification.
Am I doing something wrong?
