    Hi,

    There are multiple issues here. First, in the sidebar the declaration ‘#widgets a ‘ in the stylesheet makes the background dissapear. You can either change that or try the ‘use !important’ feature in the plugin. Check the box under Advanced -> ‘use !important’ and see if that will work.

    For the transparency, I think you are using some button transparency. If you don’t want that ensure that in the editor under ‘gradients and opacity’ everything mentioning ‘opacity’ is set to 100.

    Secondly your parent element contains opacity (transparency), therefore all your children will have opacity as well. Unfortunately there is no direct way around it, although there are some tricks to do it differently. You can see the link or search for others.
