[Resolved] No files, only DB data

  • Hi all,

Something terrible happened yesterday. Due to an enourmous problem in my server all of the public_html was deleted. With it wordpress files were deleted. No damage happened to the database. WordPress installed was version 1.5. How can I recover the blog?

    Cheers,

    Paulo Matos

  • Treat this as if you were upgrading your blog: http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress

i.e. upload all files, create a wp-config.php, then run /wp-admin/upgrade.php and you should be good to go.

I tried that just right now but I get an error:

“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/pocm/public_html/minority/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 30

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/pocm/public_html/minority/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 88

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/pocm/public_html/minority/wp-admin/upgrade-functions.php on line 96
    Step 1

There’s actually only one step. So if you see this, you’re done. Have fun!”

And everything stays the same. Going to my blog base url shows nothing. 🙁 (only the first install screen)

Working now…forgot to set the tables prefix.
