I can’t get the Facebook feed to work. Cleared cache. I added the ID and access token to the shortcode but still no posts, only error messages. The Facebook page ID is recognized since the number of followers is displayed correctly.

I was able to see your feed ok in our demo so it must be the access token. https://feedthemsocial.com/facebook-page-feed-demo/?feedID=karinssportbod&show_media=bottom

Try clicking the button on the Facebook Options page of our plugin to get a new access token for this facebook page, after words make sure and empty the cache in our plugin from the Settings > Global Options tab.. or the admin bar… also make sure and delete any other cache from plugins you may have.

Let me know if that helps.

Same issue here. I tried the fixes and the Facebook feed is still not showing. Only the message: “#190 – Error validating application. Invalid application ID. Here are some possible solutions to fix the error.”

    Website is: https://budsglassjoint.com/

    Shortcode being used is: [fts_facebook type=page id=230489157071704 access_token=EAAP9hArvboQBANOQalPdLKVvmS8L1QDh9WG8YYNHxjd9zRrZAM4HaqSx5oIHZBRTfy2RZC8gHMlk40SuajxTpDCjfuRtereU6h8Wc8vdMsvoO7jHkdblZBWTBtqLwkX8velOJXH4Lm3nkC1p4Mzrk4H45W5r3kQJam3i10KgQtBIlobb5JcP posts=6 description=yes posts_displayed=page_only]

Thanks for all the info. Keep you access token private from posting. In this case it does not matter because the token is not valid.

To all: If you are having troubles and you are not finding error messages on the Facebook Options page of our plugin about your access token not being valid then to double check it please go here. https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/accesstoken add your access token and you will see if you token is valid or not.

In your case @zankeny51 the token says that it is not valid and here is the response from facebook: Error validating access token: The session has been invalidated because the user changed their password or Facebook has changed the session for security reasons.

After you got a new token from the facebook options page and save the page, did you also paste that access token in your shortcode too? If so and still not luck try this.

    1. Login to your Facebook account and check the box for SlickRemix and then click the Remove button.
    2. Now go to the Facebook Options page of our plugin and click the button to get a new Access Token and click Save All Changes at the bottom of the page.
    3. Delete the cache from the Settings > Global Options tab of our plugin Feed Them.
    4. Refresh Page.

Let me know if any of that helps.

    Hi, same issues.
I cleared the cache, my access token is working and my page ID is working on your demo page.

    I used this:
    [fts_facebook type=page id=515621112281029 posts=6 description=yes posts_displayed=page_only]

    Link demo :
    https://feedthemsocial.com/facebook-page-feed-demo/?feedID=515621112281029&show_media=bottom

    What can I do ?
Also my project is on localhost with wamp (maybe it’s the issue)

    Thanks for your help

@eltchou84 local host will not work with fts unfortunately because of the outbound facebook api calls required to make the feed work.
