    Good afternoon.

    I have been looking at documentation and am a bit confused on how to do this. I have seen other questions similar but was hoping to just get a straight answer.

    We would like to leave the end time open by open , nothing displayed on end time. Some meetings are over when finished and we’d like to just have a start time displayed. Is this possible? If so, are there any step by step instructions. I looked at the documentation but none of that worked.

    thank you.

    am afraid that this is not possible at the moment however maybe you can try to set your event with the same time then use conditional placeholder –

    I was reading the documentation for this as well. I have absolutely no idea how to configure this though.

    In the settings, format, events and location options anytime i wrap the #_eventtimes in the placeholder nothing changes. If the times were teh same and one didn’t show up that would work but i just cant seem to get the conditional placeholders to work with the current documentation.

    thank you for the reply.

    Can you post the code you’re using?

    I am not using any code.

    Where exactly would i put the conditional placeholder if the times are exactly the same that it will only display one?

    On the settings page , even just adding descriptions hasn’t worked. Do i put this in the single_event.php? Confused on where exactly i am supposed to put this placeholder for it to work.

    In your earlier post you wrote, “In the settings, format, events and location options anytime i wrap the #_eventtimes in the placeholder nothing changes”. That’s the code I meant.

    ** no matter where i put anything on this, nothing changes or works **

    <div style="float:right; margin:0px 0px 15px 15px;">#_LOCATIONMAP</div>
    	Date(s) - #_EVENTDATES<br /><strong><i>#_EVENTTIMES </i> {no_time}TBD{/no_time}
    <br style="clear:both" />

    The conditional placeholder {no_time} is for when an event isn’t an all-day event but does have the same start/end times – in other words, an event where the time period isn’t specified.

    From what you’re saying, that doesn’t apply to your events which is why the placeholder isn’t doing anything.

    It sounds like using #_24HSTARTTIME or #_12HSTARTTIME instead of #_EVENTTIMES will do what you want.

    the event in question is a ceremony scheduled for august 1st at 7:00pm there is no end time and it is not an all day event.

    so basically, i was hoping initially to be able to leave the end time open . Or pick the start time 7:00 pm and the end time 7:00pm and only have 7:00 pm displayed on the event. I am just looking for a way to have no end time if possible. I’ll try the above.
