# No embeded coding is working…

 * I am trying to paste the code for Google maps and code from the Weather Channel.
   The embed code is not working… do I have to turn on or off some sort of security
   thingy.

 * Try this plugin [Google Maps for WordPress](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-maps-for-wordpress/)
   for google maps.
 * Also, make sure you are placing the code in the html editor and not the visual
   editor.

 * I added the iframe code in the html editor but the text link is the only thing
   that still shows. What is the plugin supposed to do? I dont see how to use it
   to do anthing with the code that I am supposed to paste from the google map page.
   All that shows up is the linked text “view larger map”
