 * Sorry peeps but my previous topic was going nowhere… 🙁
    Have a look at my site
   and perhaps anyone can tell me why my right menu is trashed by including the
   embed src code ? As you can see….the whole menu is gone…

 * It’s because you have everything else in the `<noembed>` tag. If the browser
   doesn’t support `<embed>` then it displays the stuff in the `<noembed>` tag.
   So just close the `<noembed>` tag like this: `<noembed></noembed>`

 * thank you mattread,got that solved…
    so any chance you might explain ( the story
   behind it) why it completely trashed the right menu ?

 * Because, if the sound that the embed tag plays works, then all the stuff within
   the noembed tag is not displayed. So you could put something like:
    `<noembed
   >You do not have the proper plugin to play my sound file</noembed>` Then if the
   person viewing your site doesn’t have the plugin, they will see that message,
   but if they have the plugin to play the sound then only the sound player will
   show and not that message. You had forgoten to close the noembed tag, so it did
   not display anything after that (your menu).

 * ok thanks,thats clear enough.
    but in this case everybody should see it i guess…
   that embed thing is a very simple and common thing….i hope..
