No email notifications for manually created accounts /enrollments

    Hello!

    To summarize my issue:
    – when a student account is manually created, the Student Welcome email is not sent
    – there is no option to send an Enrollment email notification to the student (for the students that are manually enrolled)
    I saw these issues reported on in this forum a couple of years ago and these features were considered for implementation, are they still on the to-do list?

    Hi @geea,

    When a student account is manually created, it will not trigger the welcome email because the account was not created from the front end.

    The account was created by an admin and this will not send any email out. This is how the software is designed to work.

    However, you can create student welcome emails on a per-course basis by using an Engagement Email (https://lifterlms.com/docs/create-email-engagement/). Use the “Enrolled in Course” trigger and select the course of your choosing.

    Now during manual enrollment your students will receive this email.

    I’ve already gone with an engagement email triggered by enrollments, luckily I don’t have a lot of courses published.
