    Hello!
    Users do not receive email notifications when someone comments an article they have commented, or when someone replies to their comment. In general, no one receives any notifications, although the options seem to be enabled.

    A read.
    Everything is fine – users can register and get emails with registration links.

    I even looked in DB, and last subscription entries were in may 2020. https://yadi.sk/i/YpGSVbZvsJCYJg
    I think then you released a new version of interface, changed all settings and subscriptions are not in work from that moment.

    There is no subscription panel on the site, please look https://clck.ru/Sp3RE

    I found – it was disabled in Forms. IT’S very hard for understanding. I can say, you made very difficuld and twisted product. Earlier it was good enough.

    So, I turned on subscription panel. If anyone write a comment, he won’t be subscripted?
    He has to click on subscription panel and then click on a small button without text https://yadi.sk/i/r55ro0NvVsbXXw , and only in that case he will be subscripted???

    Hi @eos3d,
    By default, the Subscription Bar is enabled. So you don’t have to go through Comment Form settings to enable it. it seems you’ve disabled it before.

    Users subscribe to comments when they post a comment if the Bell Icon is selected (checked):

    If they need additional subscription options they can use the Subscription drop-down

    Thank you. But I didn’t understand:
    For example user posts first comment to the article. Would he be subscribed to all new comments to this article by default, even not replies to his own comment?
    I want subscription to every comment on this article

    No, he’ll not be subscribed to all comments, he’ll be subscribed to replies of his comments.

    If you need to subscribe to the all comments of current posts he/she should use the [Subscribe] button and open the Subscription bar. You can keep this bar opened by putting a small CSS code in Dashboard > wpDiscuz > Settings > Styles and Colors > Custom CSS Code textarea. Once the code is put and saved, delete all caches, go to website frontend and press Ctrl+F5 to reset browser cache:

    #wpdcom .wpdiscuz-subscribe-bar{
        display:block!important;
    }

    How can I make subscription by default, and if user don’t want it, he can turn checkbox off?

    @eos3d,

    How can I make subscription by default, and if user don’t want it, he can turn checkbox off?

    You mean a checkbox for subscribing to all comments under the post right? If so wpDiscuz doesn’t have such a feature.

    However, we have plugin customization and custom addon development services at the gVectors Team. They can assess the work and create it for you. Just contact us via sales[at]gvectors.com email address and send a list of requirements you’d like to have.
