No effect that I could detect

I installed it, set up the Settings, including getting a Facebook app id, and it did display Facebook like buttons on my website’s pages and posts. However, when I clicked on those buttons, they indicated an increment in the count, but when I went to Facebook, I could not detect any result, anywhere.

So I have removed the plugin from my site. Mainly because the plugin does not describe what to expect on Facebook.
