 * Hi there,
    A few years ago I designed a website (using WordPress and Genesis)
   for a company in Shanghai. I built it on my Mac using Mamp Pro and I deployed
   it to the remote server in China using an FTP client (Transmit) and WP Migrate
   DB Pro.
 * Fast forward to today. The client has contacted me and told me that due to non-
   payment, his host has taken down his site and deleted all the files. However,
   he now has another host so he asked me to send him all the site files.
 * Now I’ve sent him the main site folder containing all the WP files and assets,
   but his host is asking for the SQL database. Can someone please tell me how to
   find this so they can redeploy the site?
 * Thank you in advance.

 * If you still have that MAMP setup, see [https://www.google.com/search?q=mamp+export+database&amp](https://www.google.com/search?q=mamp+export+database&amp);
 * If you still have the file from WP Migrate DB, there should be a .sql file in
   there with the datsbase contents.

 * And let’s just say (for argument’s sake) That I may have deleted MAMP when I
   went over to using Desktop Server, and that for some reason WP Migrate DB doesn’t
   seem to be in the plugins folder?

 * Then you’re probably out of luck. Maybe check your sent mail folder in case you
   ever once emailed it to them?

 * I feared as much. Thank you very much for your help Steve.
